WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Based in Nairn, I am pleased to offer professional wedding photography in Inverness, throughout the Highlands and along the Moray Coast.
If you read nothing else, check my guiding principles as a wedding photographer:
1) Top priority is to remember that it's your day and that you want a memorable and fun day with your friends and family.
2) To provide you with quality photos both formal and informal that remind you of a very special day - and bring a smile to your face..
3) To be upfront on photography costs which include all the photos.
Every wedding photographer has their own approach; their own style of photography and the quality of the photos being offered. Above all you'll be looking for someone you know you can trust to give you a lovely selection of photos that capture the fun and joy of your special day.
You want a photographer you feel comfortable working with and who will help you to feel relaxed when nerves and emotions may be just under the surface. All I can say is that I am delighted with the comments I get from brides. It's your day and you and your guests will be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.
I have learned to be relaxed and unendingly patient so that the day runs smoothly, stress-free and is always good fun. Most guests are surprised that I don't monopolise the day or take ages with the photos. You'll have time to chat and have fun with friends and family.
I'll get the shots you want - along with the candid and spontaneous shots - with all your friends around you. It's an approach that never fails to bring expressions of warm appreciation from the bride and guests. My greatest reward, having photographed a wedding is to be asked back to photograph a sister's wedding - and in one case all three sisters. For them the approach was right; the photos were great and the cost suited their budget.
* Discreet arrangement of groups means that you'll hardly know I'm there with a mixture of formal and spontaneous candid photos of you with your guests. If you are enjoying your day then good photos are easy to get. It's simply a case of "capturing the moment".
* Guests allowed and invited to take their own photos. Part of the fun of your wedding day is giving guests an opportunity to take their own photos and I am very happy for them to photograph my arrangements of photos.

"Our wedding
photos turned out incredibly well. The online images do not do
the actual prints justice: they are gorgeous! Iain made all our
guests feel very comfortable with his unobtrusive style of working. We would
(and will) recommend his services to anyone / everyone we
know!" (Y&A)
